Our design of the complex that consists of three buildings was influenced greatly by the terrain available and the shape of the plot - a narrow, sloping area between two streets. The positioning of the buildings therefore had to utilize the plot as much as possible in order to maximise the space that was available. It was important too, that the new project blends in well with its surroundings: the villa-like buildings that are characteristic of the area. On the side of the Németvölgyi road we placed a bigger mass, because the already existing buildings are also of a larger size there. The other two buildings are smaller, but all three are similar in their concepts.
An important part of the concept was to design buildings that respond smartly to their environment. This not only means the use of new technologies, but also solutions that on the one hand make a house blend in with its environment and on the other affect the climate of the offices. While the staggered floors adapt to the layers of the terrain well, the overhanging floors shield the lower ones. The great virtue of the plan is the creation of maximum size façade surfaces and the family atmosphere resulting from the scale of the project.
